This past Thursday I had the amazing privilege of being introduced as ABBA’s official professional photographer, at their banquet/fundraiser.
If you are not familiar with ABBA( http://www.abbapregnancychoice.org/) they are a womens pregnancy rescource center based in Portland Maine. They offer hope to women who would have none otherwise.
I have always loved children and when I felt God calling me to offer my services to ABBA, I reluctantly followed that calling. It has been so rewarding!! I’ve photographed one pregnant mother, two toddlers, and two newborns. Seeing these precious little ones at the beginning stages of their lives, is so wonderful. I can’t help but think about how the very same child I’m photographing was in the womb just a few short months ago. The fact that they developed inside of their mothers womb and grew over a period of 9 months just fascinates me. The Creator of these little ones is so so amazing!
When I look at these little ones, I also can’t help but think about the what ifs. What if their mother decided not to keep them? Or even let them live at all? What if they chose abortion? But thanks to ABBA and the wonderful work they are doing, I get to capture what happens when you choose life…
